Florida PACE Enabling Statutes - "Rural and Family Lands Protection Act"

This statute enables the state of Florida to purchase agricultural conservation easements.  The purpose of the law is to protect lands in perpetuity that serve to limit subdivision and conversion of agricultural and natural areas. The law was originally enacted as the "Rural and Family Lands Protection Act" in 2001 and provides the authority for the Rural and Family Lands Protection Program.
