Vermont Act 183

Vermont’s Act 183 sets out certain principles for local land use decisions to follow. It also encourages limiting development to “designated growth centers” and offers economic and regulatory incentives to implement smart growth policies.

The act is codified in various sections of titles 10, 24, and 32 of Vermont statutes.
