New York PACE Enabling Statute

These statutes authorize the PACE program in New York, also known as the Agricultural and Farmland Protection Program.

Many states have Purchase of Agricultural Conservation Easement (PACE) programs that provide funding to purchase development rights on private agricultural land to permanently protect it from non-farm development, keeping more land available for agriculture.
